Iced Vanilla Matcha Latte

I have this drink every. single. day.

When I quit drinking coffee for a month, I used matcha as a substitute while I worked on managing my anxiety. Matcha provides calm, sustained energy without the caffeine crash. It's also packed with powerful antioxidants that boost your immune system and offers many other health benefits.

My favorite matcha brand is Pique. I've tried many, and this one tastes the best and is meticulously harvested in Japan. Drinking high-quality matcha is crucial to reap all its health benefits. Initially, I hesitated to buy it because it's pricey, but I realized that anything I consume daily is worth the investment.

INGREDIENTS

Pique Matcha Packet or Matcha of your Choice

1 C Vanilla Almond Milk or Milk of your choice

1 Tbsp Vanilla Syrup

Lots of Ice!

RECIPE:

Matcha dilutes best with either a matcha whisk or hand frother.

  1. Pour 3 ounces of filtered room temperature water into a cup.

  2. Add in matcha and whisk until the top as a layer of froth.

  3. Add ice, milk, and vanilla syrup.

  4. Stir and enjoy!
